Over the past 40 years, SRISA has become one of the top
international art and design schools in
Italy. SRISA is committed to providing a
well-trained professional faculty and excellent
facilities to give students highly personalized
instruction that conforms to the expectations and
requirements of an American university curriculum.
SRISA is proud to partner with Maryville University in
St. Louis, Missouri as its school of record. Maryville
University is accredited by The Higher Learning
Commission and is a member of the North Central
Association of Colleges and Schools. SRISA has over 50
university partnerships with colleges and universities
in the United States and Mexico, and hosts nearly 35
visiting faculty-led programs per year at its Florence
campus.
SRISA offers programs of study year-round: both Spring
and Fall semesters, three Summer sessions, year-long
program, Post-Graduate Certificates and short-term
courses. Programs of study include: Studio Arts,
Design, Liberal Arts, and Italian Language and Culture.
The San Gallo site is among the finest in Italy, and
the main campus houses the contemporary art gallery,
printmaking studio, painting and drawing studio,
printmaking lab, photography lab and darkroom,
classrooms, study lounge, library, computer center, and
administrative offices. Adjacent campus buildings
include the newly renovated Fashion Design and Interior
Design studio, and Project Space for emerging artists
and post-graduate participants. Our partner, Fuji
Studio, provides spacious facilities for batik,
silkscreen and jewelry design classes.
The SRISA academic program is enhanced with
extra-curricular activities, field trips, welcome
dinners, beyond-the-classroom learning, orientation
seminars, and museum visits. Santa Reparata's
internship program places qualified students with local
businesses or within the SRISA campus offices to learn
new skills.
